This is a lovely photograph of a Vintage Bride from maybe the 20s? It's interesting to note that her veil is very similar to the veils that brides wore in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with the poof of tulle in the back and a headband. Enjoy!

OK now this is a super cool ad. It's for a soap brand that was promoting itself for being the brand of soap that will be used in 1st Class on the maiden voyage of the Titanic. It's just such a great piece, that shows what a wonder Titanic was and how people viewed it. Since it's only a few weeks before the hundredth anniversary of the sinking of Titanic, it's kinda a appropriate image to post. Enjoy!

Catalog Page with Vintage Victorian Women's Clothing Circa 1905
This is a beautiful illustration from a Catalog advertising women's clothing. It's funny because when I look at clothing style it seems like it's so very old, but when you think about it, it's only 100 years ago. When you think about clothing styles across history, this is just a blink of an eye, and when I think about what women wear today or don't wear as the case may be we have changed immensely. I can't even imagine what it must have been like to have to wear these ornate clothes along with a corset! How could these women breathe in the heat of the Summer? It had to be horrible! I'm just sayin'...
